As a former Quarter Horse competitor and now a dressage rider, I hadn't heard of Peter Cameron when he came into my booth at Equine Affaire, but it was a pleasure to meet him. It turns out he was voted Arabian Horsemen Judge of the Year on a world-wide vote in 1991 and 1992, so he KNOWS Arabian horses! I have learned from folks coming through my booth and seeing "Approved by Peter Cameron" on this piece that being approved by him is a high honor indeed! Especially since this was a "made-up" horse, not a real one. This horse came out of my head, through my hands and into the clay with only a few reference pictures of several horses for the muscling of the pose.
