"Anton"
Cathy Finnegan Zine said on my Facebook page: "Anton 343 was imported by me and I know his looks very well. You've captured him beautifully."
The magnificent Friesian stallion, Anton, was captured in photography by internationally renowned photographer, Gabrielle Boiselle, who consented to my use of this photo as the pose for a commissioned portrait of Anton. You can see the photo behind the sculpture in the small photo showing it with the clay original. (More photos are below.) This sculpture is patinaed black with the high spots buffed off to show a glimmer of the natural light gold color of bronze. This finish highlights the detailing and makes the piece look even more three-dimensional. "Anton" is mounted on a rectangular walnut base with a 30 degree beveled edge. "Anton" with his base is 21" long x 7 7/8"W x 16" high to the top of his mane. The piece for sale is the Artist's Proof. Sale price $3900 plus shipping/handling. A 5% donation to the Fenway Foundation for Friesian Horses will be made for each sale. Thank you for your interest. |
