Welcome! The 2010 Dancing Horse Farm Equine Art Show is open to any artists, both professional and amateur as well as children, who wish to enter (see the Prospectus for information on the 2010 show). Following is a list of the winners of each division of our 2009 show: Best in Show: "A Feathered Friend" by Debbie Flood of Maine Professional Painting: First Place: "Upperville Rider" by Lyndsay Warren of Virginia Second Place: "Amber Dawn" by Lyndsay Warren of Virginia Third Place: "Black" by Kimberly Kelly Santini of Michigan Honorable Mention: "The Favorite" by Jo Hodos Amateur Painting: First Place: "All Dressed Up" by Daisyree Bakker, The Netherlands Second Place: "Going Wild" by Daisyree Bakker, The Netherlands Professional Mixed Media: First Place: "The Iberian" by Lyndsay Warren of Virginia Professional Sculpture: First Place: "Gypsy Wizard" by Yvonne Kitchen of Oregon Amateur Photography: First Place: "Indy Moment" by Mayme Hausman of Ohio Second Place: "Tail Ends" by Mayme Hausman of Ohio Third Place: "Westerly Wisps" by Maybe Hausman of Ohio Many thanks to all who entered, and a HUGE congratulations to the winners! I can tell you quite honestly that choosing the winning entries was a BIG job! We had several three-way ties among the jurors - that's how good the quality of this show is. This year's show was held in the DHF Conference Room again, and this time the food vendor was in this room as well, which means we had GREAT foot traffic during the horse show! No sales (yet) but I'm still hopeful. We had quite a few people who were just dumbfounded to see such wealth of artwork all in one place.
