Adventures in Art

My "adventures in Art" are my explorations of other media, in this case, painting.

The latest (9/24/05): Jenny's Sign, a painting of my daughter Jennifer with her mare, Breezy ("Nachtwind") working in her home arena.

This one isn't for sale, and I don't really want to do this type of thing as commissions -- it took me months, many of which I just left it sitting while I stomped around in frustration not knowing what to do next. But I'm pleased with how it's turned out. I have some work to do on her hair and breeches, but I'm pleased overall with how it turned out. I may acutally do some other paintings now that I've conquered this one!

Decorative Painted Tiles
Each tile is a handpainted original. The tiles shown are 6" x 6". If you'd like a matched set, pick tiles whose numbers are consecutive (such as tile 2-6, 2-7, 2-8 and 2-9). Each number is marked on the back of each tile, and you can lay them out in numerical order to get a panoramic look. They have hangers epoxied to the back of them, which can be removed if you want to tile them into the wall or have them framed. These tiles are for DECORATIVE USE only (wall hangings). They are not prepared to be used as functional tiles (such as coasters). (Please note: Copyright mark in blue is to protect my artwork online. It does not appear on the painted tile.)

$18 each, with discount given for purchase of two or more at a time.

Set 1 sold as a complete set. I am down to two tiles at present. Below are SAMPLE tiles - the two I have left are similar to this. I can always make more if you want some.
