"Elegance" was the Course D'Elegance Trophy at the 2007 FHANA World Friesian Extravaganza and Championship. It is bronze has 50 years worth of brass plates on its base. You can read more about this piece here: "Elegance"

Palm Beach Dressage Derby

Shown above is the Palm Beach Dressage Derby Grand Prix Special trophy, presented for the first time in March 2002. The Palm Beach Dressage Derby is a CDI-W, an a US Equestrian Team Olympic Qualifier, held in Palm Beach, Florida. The sculpture shown is " Harmony ", #2 of the limited edition of 18. The trophy base, made by Diane Soper of Sistermaide Woodworks, Lewisburg OH (who makes nearly all my bases), is walnut, with 18 small brass plates mounted around three sides of the box beneath the circular base of the sculpture. These brass plates will be engraved with each year's winner's name. The circular base is mounted on a turntable so the piece can be posed at whatever angle pleases the viewer. Due to the fragility of the bits and reins on the sculpture, the trophy will be displayed at the show in an acrylic box which screws to the "table" which is the bottom part of the trophy base. The acrylic box can be easily removed for display in the owner's home.

"Palm Beach Dressage Derby" trophy
Palm Beach Dressage Derby

This piece is a special award for the Palm Beach Dressage Derby. It was presented for the first time in March 2000 at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby. (The trophy doesn't have this greenish tinge -- the photo came out funny and I took it in a hurry before shipping the piece. The actual piece is the same colors as the Mid-Ohio trophy below.)

MODA Trophy
MODA Stallion Perpetual Trophy

Shown here is the Mid-Ohio Dressage Association Stallion Perpetual Trophy, which incorporates the bronze "Presence." This trophy includes a walnut base with a special protective coating in case it has to be awarded in a downpour of rain. There are individual plates on the base for each year's winning stallion's name, for a total of 21 years of winners.

MODA Stallion Perpetual Trophy Shipping Box

This is the custom shipping box created for the MODA trophy. The name of the trophy donors (Paxton Farm, Batavia OH) is engraved inside the box as a "permanent address." The trophy is held down by nylon straps so it won't shift inside the box. The box is lined in soft suede to protect the finish of the base. The box features a lip that prevents rain from running inside it, in case it winds up sitting outside. It features strong carrying handles, and meets UPS specs for size and weight.

"Captivating" makes a handsome trophy. This is the Founders Memorial Trophy in memory of Vernon E. Dwelly. This twenty-year perpetual trophy was created for the Golden Gate Arabian Horse Association donated by Barbara Dwelly.

In 2001 "The Race" became a trophy which was awarded at Great Lakes Downs, Muskegon MI. It is now awarded at many tracks across the USA and in Canada. 2001 was also the debut of the American Warmblood Champion trophy.

"The Race"

This piece, as a trophy, is presented on a bookend type base, with a slot to hold the edge of the sculpture (which is disk-shaped). There is room at the bottom of the base for a large name plate.

"A Good Day's Work"
comes with the name plate shown, with inscription of your choice. He comes with a braided mane and a champion's neck ribbon.

"A Good Day's Work" is also available as a perpetual trophy with plates for 15 annual winners. As shown this trophy is 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" (measuring the footer) x 12" high. Pricing is under $200.

This is "Good Morning" which was created to be the New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc., annual championship trophies. They were presented for the first time March 26, 2002.

Above is "Lazy Afternoon" in use as a trophy for Detroit Dressage. This piece is called "The Positive Step Perpetual Trophy" and was presented to the youngest rider at their show achieving a score of 60% or higher.

Above is a dressage equitation trophy, shown here as a perpetual trophy that will run ten years. The large brass plate reads "Ransom Memorial Equitation Trophy" and the ten small plates are removeable so each year's winner's name can be added to the trophy. This sculpture is resin finished to look like bronze and mounted on a 16" x 18" walnut board. The resin itself is 12" x 16". The resin can also be ordered as a piece of wall art. The resin itself is designed to hang unframed, directly on the wall. You can read more about this piece on this page: "10". Perpetual trophies with this piece (for ten to twenty years) are $200.

Many of the pieces shown on my site, from bronzes to resin wall art, can be produced as trophies. Please contact me for price quotes on these and your other trophy needs.
