How to Care for Your Sculpture Whimsy Hill Studio
| A few years ago, I went to a show with my art show trailer and brought along my clay and tools and FORGOT my "work in progress" to keep me busy between customers. ARGH!!! So I thought, "hmm, I have clay, I have tools, all I need is a board, some nails or screws and a little wire. . .and an idea for a piece showing a horse that's lying down." I dug around in my trailer storage box and found a piece of plywood usually used to support the legs of my gooseneck art show trailer when it's parked. In the "travel tool" box I found a couple of screws. In my sculpture tool box, I found some floral wire, and of such is great art created! Well, sorta. . . . Anyway, here's my "Oopsie" piece, which earned its name in two different ways. It's amazing what you can do when you have to! This is the "chestnut" or "sorrel" version. $790 plus shipping/handling. |
